With an unmistakable vocal tone and a poetic lyricism beyond her years, Tíykhía creates lush soundscapes that push the boundaries of traditional genres. Her music combines urban beats with vintage synths, lo-fi samples, luscious strings and intricate vocal arrangements. Tíykhía’s Cypriot background provides a fresh perspective to modern day RNB, bringing the traditional melodies and harmony she grew up with, to a contemporary setting.
With a background in jazz training at the Australian Institute of Music (SYD) and a love of old school jazz and blues, Tíykhía’s skills as an arranger, songwriter and producer have allowed her to develop a sensual and captivating sound of her own.
